  • Fry’s Food Stores was named Corporation of the Year by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
  • Kroger’s Holiday Mega Event was named best in category in the Best Third-Party Prepaid Product Retailer by Prepaid Media
  • Kroger’s Layton Bakery won the first place blue ribbon in the Family Cherry Pie category in the American Pie Council-National Pie Championships
  • Kroger received the Retail Sustainability Award from Produce Business Magazine
  • Kroger’s Mid-South Division received the Arthur M. Walters Champion of Diversity Award from the Louisville Urban League
  • Kroger received a community service award for “Many Years of Service to the Community and Support of the American Legion” from the Hamilton County Council American Legion & Auxiliary
  • Kroger received the Golden Halo Award from Cause Marketing Forum for our “Giving Hope a Hand” breast cancer campaign
  • Kroger received a Power Partner Award from Duke Energy
  • Kroger Mid-South Division received the award for Highest Savings for Multiple Program Participation from Xcel energy
  • Kroger received a Corporate Philanthropy Award for large companies from Nashville Business Journal
  • Kroger’s Fry’s Division received the HOPE award from the American Red Cross-Grand Canyon Chapter
  • Kroger was recognized as a Fit Friendly Company-Gold Achievement by the American Heart Association
  • Kroger received the Black Pearl Award for food safety standards from the International Association for Food Protection
  • Kroger received the Galaxy-Star of Energy Efficiency Award from the Alliance to Save Energy
  • Kroger’s Central Division received the Corporate Partner Award from Indianapolis Public Schools
  • Our King Sooper’s Division Associate Lee Lucero received the Store Manager of the Year Award from the Food Marketing Institute
  • Our King Sooper’s Division Associate Marie Royval was recognized in Outstanding Women in Grocery by Progressive Grocer
  • Crawfordsville, Tamarack, Westover, Southern, Centennial and Winchester dairies were honored with Dairy Industry Safety Recognition Awards by the International Dairy Foods Association
