Red Kettle Bell
Ringers Will Be At Stores
Throughout The Holidays To Raise
Funds
CINCINNATI, Ohio, November 25,
2008 – The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) and
its family of stores are once again
supporting The Salvation Army’s

contributing $9.4 million to the
Salvation Army in 2007.
"The Salvation Army is so grateful
for the long-standing kettle
campaign partnership with Kroger and
their customers who put their
hard-earned dollars and change into
Salvation Army kettles," said Major
George Hood, National Community
Relations Secretary for The
Salvation Army. "The need is greater
than ever this year and the funds we
raise through our red kettles make a
real difference in the lives of
people in local communities across
America."

communities across the country. In
keeping with the spirit of the
