KROGER TO PARTICIPATE IN LEHMAN BROTHERS TENTH ANNUAL RETAIL CONFERENCE

CINCINNATI, Ohio, April 25, 2007 – The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) will participate in the Lehman Brothers Tenth Annual Retail Conference on Wednesday, May 2, 2007. David Dillon, Kroger chairman and chief executive officer, and Mike Schlotman, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will address investors.
