KROGER TO PRESENT AT CSFB FIXED INCOME SHOPPING CART TOUR

CINCINNATI, OH, March 16, 2005 -- The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) will participate in the fourth annual CSFB Fixed Income Shopping Cart Tour in Los Angeles Thursday, March 17.
