KROGER PHARMACIES WELCOME PRESCRIPTIONS
FROM GENERAL MOTORS EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FAMILIES
CINCINNATI, OH, February 16, 2005 -- The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) today said its pharmacies continue to fill prescriptions and provide other services to General Motors Corp. employees and their families.
“We understand that customers depend on our local pharmacies for consistent, high-quality service and knowledgeable advice on their prescriptions or health-related needs,” said Lincoln Lutz, Kroger vice president for pharmacy merchandising and procurement. “Amid all the changes in health care plans today, our General Motors customers can be sure that Kroger pharmacists will be there to take care of them.”
