DILLON RECEIVES VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP AWARD FROM URBAN LEAGUE OF GREATER CINCINNATI
CINCINNATI, OH, January 31, 2003 - The Urban League of Greater Cincinnati today named David B. Dillon, president and chief operating officer of The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), as the winner of the Cordell Williams Volunteer Leadership Award.
The award was presented at the Urban League's annual meeting at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Cincinnati. Mr. Dillon has been a member of the Urban League's Board of Trustees since 1998.
